Easter Eggers

Easter Eggers are not a breed per se, but a wide variety of chicken that does not conform to any breed standard but lays large to extra larger eggs that can vary in shades from blue to green to olive to aqua. Sometimes the eggs are even pinkish in color! Easter Eggers vary widley in color and conformation and are exceptionally friendly and hardy. Since they are a very friendly chicken they are great choice for a family flock. They are quite hardy in the winter time and they tolerate the heat in the summer well. A mature female Easter Egger can weigh up to 6 lbs.
