The offspring from an Easter Egger and a chicken that lays dark eggs such as a Maran will produce what is know as an Olive Egger which lays olive-green eggs. This breed of chicken is very rare but they are fairly friendly and easy going chickens. they are especially hardy in the winter but are not to much of a fan of summer heat.
